Recancostat combines the essential tripeptide glutathione (GSH or reduced glutathione)
and the important amino acid L-cysteine with a group of potent antioxidants called
anthocyanins. Adequate levels of GSH and antioxidants are desirable for supporting immune
function in both healthy individuals and those with varying degrees of
compromised immunity1,2,3,4. Supplementation, including the use of convenient
oral administration5,6,7,8 has been shown to increase both circulating and
tissue concentrations9 of this important nutrient.
