No other Uncaria tomentosa-even those with more mg. of extract or oxindole alkaloids (OAs) per capsule-provides Saventaro's unique benefits.
Why? The benefits come from a group of compounds called pentacyclic oxindole alkaloids (POAs). Saventaro is the first and ONLY Uncaria tomentosa product derived from the root, where POAs are 200% more concentrated than in the stem. That makes it more potent. In addition, a similar group of compounds, tetracyclic oxindole alkaloids (TOAs), cancel out the acquired immune benefits of POAs. As little as 1% TOAs cause a 30% reduction in the acquired immune benefits that POAs provide.† Saventaro is the first and ONLY product that is 100% TOA-FREE. Products standardized for OAs cannot make this claim. |
