pH range:
- The common cranberry extract is standardized to contain 5% anthocyanidins and 30% organic acids, including quinic, malic, and citric acids. Researchers are exploring the connection between these organic acids and bladder function.†
- The upland cranberry extract (also known as Uva ursi or bearberry) is standardized to contain 20% arbutin. In the body, arbutin breaks down into hydroquinone, a compound recognized for its role in urinary tract function.†
