Clinical Nutrients Flax Oil contains both essential fatty acids needed by the body: alpha-linolenic (an omega-3 fatty acid) and linoleic acid (an omega-6 fatty acid). Clinical Nutrients Flax Oil is a unique formulation that combines organic flaxseed oil, the world's richest source of omega-3 fatty acids (twice the level as fish oil), with pumpkin and borage seed oils. Pumpkin seed oil is valued as a source of omega-3 fatty acids and plant sterols; borage seed oil is a rich source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA).
Clinical Nutrients Flax Oil is the preferred source of essential fatty acids because it has more GLA per tablespoon (325 mg) than five 500 mg capsules of evening primrose oil (250 mg of GLA); it's 100% expeller pressed at a temperature below 96° F to protect it from damage; and it's stabilized with the all-natural rosemary antioxidant, S-327, developed exclusively for PhytoPharmica. S-327 gives this formula twice the shelf life of other flaxseed oil products. |

Recommendations: Shake well before using. Do not use for cooking. One tablespoon once or twice daily. The oil may be taken alone, mixed with food, or used as a salad dressing.
